Responsibilities
- Incident Response: Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents and cyber threats in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses in our network architecture.
- Security Architecture: Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
- Policy Development: Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of security policies and procedures.
- Threat Hunting: Proactively hunt for advanced persistent threats (APTs) and suspicious activities within the network.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field is required.
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, CEH, or GCIH certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, or network security analysis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar), scripting languages (Python, PowerShell), and Windows/Linux environments.
- Cloud Security: Familiarity with cloud security best practices for AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
