Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools like Splunk.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Manage firewall configurations and network security architecture.
- Respond to security breaches and execute incident response plans.
- Develop and maintain security policies and compliance frameworks (GDPR/ISO).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in Information Security or SOC operations.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC preferred.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI models, and VPN protocols.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
