Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools like Splunk and Azure Sentinel.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network infrastructure.
- Implement and maintain security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with IT and software development teams to integrate security best practices into the software lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Produce detailed security reports and threat intelligence briefings for executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in a SOC (Security Operations Center) or as a Security Analyst.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking protocols, and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
- Experience with SIEM technologies, endpoint protection (EDR), and identity management.
