Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts within the SIEM environment (Splunk, Sentinel) to detect and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
- Lead and coordinate incident response efforts for confirmed security breaches, ensuring rapid containment and recovery.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses before they are exploited.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, ensuring role-based access controls are strictly enforced.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive security awareness training programs for employees to reduce human error risks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure network architectures and implement security best practices.
- Prepare detailed reporting on security posture, incidents, and compliance status for executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent certification is strongly required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or incident response.
- Deep knowledge of NIST frameworks, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS compliance standards.
- Proficiency in using security tools such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
