In this role, you will act as the guardian of our digital assets, utilizing advanced tools to detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats in real-time.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations 24/7, including scheduled weekend shifts.
- Investigate and remediate security incidents using SIEM and EDR tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on systems and networks.
- Manage and configure firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and VPNs.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2).
- Document security policies, procedures, and incident reports.
- Perform security audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network administration.
- Valid certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH.
- Proven experience working in remote or shift-based environments.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and encryption standards.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Clearance to work with sensitive data is a plus.
