Responsibilities
- Lead incident response and forensic investigations to mitigate security breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external networks.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to alerts generated by SIEM and IDS/IPS systems.
- Design and implement robust security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Provide security training and awareness to staff members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ is required.
- Strong working knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
- Experience with security automation scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
