Responsibilities
- Lead security incident response and threat hunting operations
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop and implement security monitoring strategies using SIEM tools
- Collaborate with engineering teams on secure architecture designs
- Maintain compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Document security policies and procedures
- Mentor junior security analysts
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ in security operations
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Strong knowledge of network protocols and architectures
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell)
- Ability to work independently in remote settings
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
