We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite remote team. Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to ensure 24/7 system availability.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in network architecture before malicious actors exploit them.
- Develop and maintain robust security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Lead forensic investigations into security breaches, documenting findings and recommending remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with IT operations and software development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage access controls and identity management systems to prevent unauthorized access.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ is strongly required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on SOC operations and incident response.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell for automated security tasks.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN technologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
