Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, Sentinel, or QRadar).
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with internal teams to mitigate security breaches.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Perform security audits and provide recommendations for risk remediation.
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and phishing awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security engineering.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail.
- Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
