Responsibilities
- Lead threat detection and incident response using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop/implement zero-trust security architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security compliance (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Monitor cloud environments (AWS/Azure) for security anomalies
- Document security procedures and create executive reports
- Mentor junior analysts on cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in enterprise security operations
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and DevSecOps
- Strong analytical skills with threat hunting capabilities
- Ability to work independently in remote environments
