Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for suspicious activities and potential threats.
- Manage and respond to security incidents using SOC tools and incident response plans.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and maintain security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption protocols.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, and internal security policies.
- Collaborate with IT teams to secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms.
