Responsibilities
- Lead threat detection and incident response operations using SIEM platforms
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise systems
- Develop and implement security controls aligned with NIST and ISO frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate security gaps
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using Splunk and Darktrace
- Document security procedures and create executive-level risk reports
- Stay current with emerging threats and zero-day vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with 2+ in remote work environments
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ required
- Expertise in network security, cloud architectures (AWS/Azure), and endpoint protection
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS)
- Experience with security orchestration and automation tools (SOAR)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
