Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools like Splunk or QRadar.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with ISO 27001 and NIST frameworks.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design secure architectures for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with law enforcement when necessary.
- Perform regular security audits and compliance checks (HIPAA, GDPR).
- Provide security awareness training to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Certification: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ is required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network and cloud security.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS Controls, and COBIT.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python or PowerShell) for automation and tool development.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical teams.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
