Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct forensic investigations and incident response coordination
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance (NIST, FISMA)
- Lead security awareness training programs for staff
- Stay current with emerging threats and threat intelligence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and risk assessment
- Proficiency with security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
