Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external networks.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and alerts in real-time.
- Manage and configure SIEM tools to detect threats and generate reports.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, HIPAA).
- Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
- Perform security audits and provide remediation recommendations to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM tools like Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to executive leadership.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
