In this role, you will lead threat detection efforts, manage security incidents, and develop robust security frameworks to safeguard our digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify system weaknesses.
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches, coordinating with legal and IT teams to minimize downtime and damage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Manage access controls and perform regular audits of user privileges.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and industry trends to recommend continuous improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Certification: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ required; GCFA preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related role.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and network protocols.
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
