We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic remote workforce based in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will be the first line of defense against cyberattacks, utilizing cutting-edge SIEM tools and threat intelligence to ensure our clients' data integrity. You will work closely with a team of elite engineers to implement Zero Trust architectures and drive security best practices.
Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events from SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to identify and mitigate potential threats in real-time.
- Conduct proactive threat hunting and vulnerability assessments to uncover hidden risks before they are exploited.
- Lead and manage the incident response lifecycle, from detection and containment to eradication and post-incident analysis.
- Oversee compliance audits (SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO 27001) and ensure all security controls meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation of security policies, procedures, and technical architecture.
Qualifications
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or network security.
- Strong proficiency in Python or PowerShell for automation and scripting.
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors (MITRE ATT&CK).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a high degree of self-motivation.
