Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools, conducting thorough analysis to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to proactively identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and implement robust security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with NIST and CIS controls.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders during security breaches.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI-DSS through regular audits and reporting.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certification as CISSP, CEH, or GIAC GCIH is required.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, network defense, or threat intelligence.
- Strong hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and endpoint detection solutions.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, cryptography, and cloud security architectures (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
