We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite threat hunting team in Houston, TX. Responsibilities
- Monitor security operations center (SOC) alerts and respond to incidents 24/7, including weekend rotation support.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Collaborate with engineering and development teams to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Prepare and present detailed incident reports and threat intelligence briefings to stakeholders.
- Enforce compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and HIPAA.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, preferably in a SOC or GRC role.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
- Experience with cloud security architectures and network security protocols.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
