Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Investigate and remediate security incidents within SLA timeframes
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop security documentation and incident response plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security initiatives
- Stay current with emerging threats and mitigation strategies
- Provide guidance on compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with focus on threat detection/response
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network protocols
- Proficiency in security tools: Splunk, Nessus, Wireshark
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
