Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security protocols to ensure compliance with SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design secure network architectures.
- Develop and maintain security documentation and playbooks.
- Conduct security awareness training for remote employees.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are strongly preferred.
- Proven experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be willing to work in a fully remote capacity within the United States.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with high attention to detail.
