Responsibilities
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations across cloud/on-premise environments
- Develop and maintain SIEM correlations for real-time threat detection
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement security-by-design principles
- Document security procedures and compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Participate in 24/7 rotational on-call duties
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in SOC/operations
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or GIAC Security Expert
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and network architecture
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (Mandiant, Recorded Future)
- Strong understanding of compliance regulations (GDPR, HIPAA)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
