Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security controls across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response operations including threat hunting, forensic analysis, and mitigation strategies
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for enterprise systems
- Develop comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with proven incident response experience
- CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong understanding of network protocols and attack vectors
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerized environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Clearances or willingness to obtain government security clearance preferred
