Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and analyze threats to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.
- Manage and configure SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) to maintain visibility into the network.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
- Collaborate with IT teams to implement security best practices and patch management strategies.
- Lead incident response drills and create detailed post-incident reports.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Relevant certification (e.g., CISSP, CEH, Security+ or CISM).
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and endpoint protection tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment.
- U.S. Work authorization required (Remote role open to NY & CA).
