Job Summary:
As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be the first line of defense against cyber threats. You will analyze security logs, respond to active incidents, and work closely with engineering teams to harden our environment. Your expertise will ensure our clients' data remains uncompromised.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and events across on-premise and cloud environments.
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop, maintain, and test the organization's Incident Response (IR) plans and playbooks.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) protocols to enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies, industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2), and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with software development and IT operations teams to integrate security into the Software Development Life Cycle (DevSecOps).
- Produce detailed security reports and metrics for stakeholders to demonstrate risk posture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Active certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or information security analysis.
- Strong proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, LogRhythm) and EDR solutions.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and secure architecture.
- Experience working with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and log parsing.
