Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events and alerts within the SIEM environment in real-time.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify potential risks.
- Manage and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other network security appliances.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and coordinate with legal and executive teams.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the SDLC.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification required: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information assurance.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
- Experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security (Kubernetes/Docker).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting to stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance (if applicable).
