Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems across enterprise networks
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for critical assets
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate cross-functional security initiatives
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor SIEM platforms and analyze security metrics for proactive threat mitigation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or threat analysis
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in network security tools (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM platforms)
- Hands-on experience with incident response protocols and forensic analysis
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
