Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses before they are exploited.
- Design and implement robust security architectures, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Enforce compliance standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, and NIST frameworks across all organizational departments.
- Lead post-incident investigations and forensic analysis to prevent future breaches.
- Develop and conduct security awareness training for employees to reduce human error risk.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or related fields.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or Security+ (Must hold at least one active certification).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, and common attack vectors (Phishing, Ransomware, APTs).
- Proficiency in cloud security platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate technical jargon for stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a 24/7 security operations center environment.
