Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM, EDR, and NDR platforms
- Lead incident response operations for security breaches and cyberattacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on enterprise networks
- Develop and maintain security automation workflows using Python and PowerShell
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
- Present executive-level security posture reports and strategic recommendations
- Mentor junior analysts and drive security awareness across the organization
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in threat detection and incident response
- Certified CISSP, CISM, or OSCP required (CEH acceptable)
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security services and cloud-native architectures
- Proficiency in security automation tools (Splunk, Palo Alto Cortex, CrowdStrike)
- Strong understanding of NIST frameworks, GDPR, and HIPAA compliance
- Experience leading security assessments for regulated industries
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to operate under pressure
