Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts across global networks during night shift operations
- Investigate and respond to cybersecurity incidents, including malware outbreaks and intrusion attempts
- Develop and implement security protocols to protect cloud infrastructure and on-premise systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remediate vulnerabilities and prevent future attacks
- Generate detailed incident reports and security recommendations for executive leadership
- Conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Maintain compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and other regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in SOC or incident response roles
- Active CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification required
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and EDR solutions
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Experience working in night shift or rotating shift environments preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance (if applicable)
