At Phoenix CyberGuard Systems, we are looking for a vigilant Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our elite 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC). In this high-impact role, you will be the first line of defense against evolving cyber threats, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our clients' data. This is an opportunity to lead night shift operations, drive incident response strategies, and contribute to a culture of zero trust security.
Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Continuously monitor SIEM dashboards, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems to detect and neutralize malicious activity in real-time.
- Incident Response: Lead the investigation and remediation of security breaches, malware infections, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Log Analysis: Perform deep-dive analysis of security logs to identify trends, anomalies, and potential vulnerabilities before they are exploited.
- Forensic Investigations: Conduct digital forensics and root cause analysis to understand the scope of security incidents.
- Reporting: Document incident reports, generate security dashboards for leadership, and communicate threat status to stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure all security controls align with industry standards (NIST, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC operations, or network security.
- Night Shift Availability: Proven ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and scripting (Python, PowerShell).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and documentation.
