Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Execute real-time monitoring of security alerts and events via SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel) to identify potential breaches.
- Incident Response: Lead and coordinate the investigation and remediation of security incidents during night operations.
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct rigorous vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal and external networks.
- Policy Enforcement: Enforce strict security protocols and ensure compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC 2 standards.
- Log Analysis: Analyze system logs and network traffic to detect anomalies and malicious activities.
- Reporting: Generate detailed incident reports and security dashboards for the 24/7 operations team.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC, or Network Defense.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, GCIH, or Security+ required; CISM preferred.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work Night Shift schedules (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SIEM tools, Firewalls, VPNs, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
