Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and events on a 24/7 Night Shift schedule to detect potential breaches.
- Conduct real-time incident response and remediation for cyber threats and malicious activity.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on internal networks.
- Manage and tune SIEM solutions to reduce false positives and improve threat visibility.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Collaborate with the threat intelligence team to develop proactive defense strategies.
- Create and maintain detailed incident reports and security documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or Network Security.
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC.
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel) and EDR solutions.
- Must be available and willing to work rotating Night Shifts (e.g., 6 PM - 6 AM).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web technologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
