Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Monitor security alerts and SIEM data 24/7 to detect and mitigate threats specifically targeting equity options platforms and trading APIs.
- Incident Response: Conduct forensic investigations and lead incident response efforts for cyber breaches that occur during off-peak hours.
- Data Integrity: Enforce strict security policies for data integrity and access control within our financial trading systems and databases.
- Vulnerability Management: Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in real-time to prevent exploitation of trading infrastructure.
- Compliance Reporting: Document security incidents and prepare detailed reports for compliance audits and regulatory bodies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SOC teams and external auditors to ensure 24/7 coverage of security operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably within the financial services or fintech sector.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of equity options trading platforms, FIX protocols, and financial data protection standards.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and intrusion detection systems.
- Shift Work: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts and weekends.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
