Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Lead incident response protocols for security breaches and cyber attacks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across networks
- Develop security policies compliant with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor junior analysts and conduct security awareness training
- Monitor emerging threats and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC (e.g., GSEC, GCFA)
- Expertise in network security, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and threat intelligence
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell) and automation tools
- Strong analytical skills with experience in forensic investigations
- Ability to communicate complex security concepts to technical/non-technical stakeholders
