Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct daily vulnerability scans, penetration testing, and risk assessments to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead forensic investigations into security breaches and develop actionable remediation plans.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001) across the organization.
- Collaborate with IT teams to patch vulnerabilities and secure network infrastructure.
- Prepare incident response reports and present findings to executive leadership.
- Conduct security awareness training for staff members to reduce human error.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or threat intelligence.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Python, and PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, or ArcSight) and EDR solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Active Top Secret security clearance is highly desirable.
