Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct thorough vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage network security controls, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (NIST, ISO 27001).
- Lead incident response investigations and coordinate with internal teams for remediation.
- Perform regular security audits and threat hunting activities to ensure proactive defense.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or IT operations.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Python, or PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
