Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses in our infrastructure.
- Implement and manage security controls to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA standards.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Lead tabletop exercises and security awareness training for staff.
- Investigate complex cyber threats, including malware analysis and phishing campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are highly required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC analysis, or threat intelligence.
- Strong proficiency with Python or Bash scripting for automation and forensics.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
