Responsibilities
- Monitor & Analyze: Lead 24/7 monitoring of security operations centers (SOC) using SIEM tools to detect, investigate, and respond to sophisticated cyber threats in real-time.
- Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive threat hunting activities to identify vulnerabilities and malicious actors before they compromise the network.
- Incident Response: Spearhead forensic investigations and coordinate incident response plans during security breaches to minimize downtime and data loss.
- Pentesting & Audits: Plan and execute penetration testing engagements and regular security audits to validate the effectiveness of security controls.
- Policy Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce robust cybersecurity policies and standards to ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, NIST).
- Vulnerability Management: Oversee the vulnerability management lifecycle, including scanning, prioritization, and remediation of identified security flaws.
- Cloud Security: Secure cloud environments (AWS, Azure) by configuring identity and access management (IAM) and network security groups.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, CISM, or GIAC GCIH certification is highly required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 3 years in a Senior Analyst or SOC Lead role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar), Firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and Endpoint Protection (CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
- Programming: Strong scripting skills in Python or PowerShell for automation and log analysis.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Agility: Ability to adapt quickly to changing threat landscapes and work in an Agile development environment.
