Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
- Design, implement, and maintain robust security frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Lead incident response investigations, performing root cause analysis and remediation.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) and ensure least privilege access.
- Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to integrate security measures into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats and industry trends to recommend proactive measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm) and EDR tools.
- Deep understanding of network security architecture, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
