Responsibilities
- Monitor security events and alerts in real-time using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Lead incident response investigations, ensuring rapid containment and eradication of cyber threats.
- Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure network architecture to enforce security policies.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and NIST standards.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Provide security awareness training to employees to reduce human risk factors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related IT role.
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required; CISM preferred.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and web technologies.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and security automation tools.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
