Responsibilities
- Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise systems
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards
- Provide security awareness training to employees and stakeholders
- Manage security tools and technologies including firewalls, EDR, and IAM solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalent
- Proven experience with threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols and cloud security architectures
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure during high-stakes security incidents
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
