Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection protocols using SIEM tools
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments
- Develop security automation scripts using Python/PowerShell
- Collaborate with engineering teams on secure architecture design
- Prepare executive-level security breach reports
- Mentor junior analysts on security best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on incident response experience
- CISSP, CISM, or GIAC certification required
- Expertise in Palo Alto Networks, Splunk, and CrowdStrike
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Validated threat hunting methodology implementation
- Active DoD Secret clearance preferred
