Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to breaches in real-time.
- Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses before attackers do.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external law enforcement during security breaches.
- Develop and enforce robust security policies, procedures, and frameworks compliant with ISO 27001 and NIST standards.
- Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the DevSecOps lifecycle.
- Perform regular security audits and provide detailed reporting on the organization's security posture.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Active CISSP, CEH, or Security+ certification is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or network defense.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, VPN), firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto), and endpoint protection (EDR) solutions.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with cloud security in AWS or Azure environments.
- Tools: Strong knowledge of SIEM, identity management (IAM), and threat intelligence platforms.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
