Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security protocols to safeguard organizational infrastructure
- Lead incident response and threat hunting operations for critical security events
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across enterprise systems
- Develop security awareness training programs for staff and stakeholders
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS frameworks
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Generate comprehensive security reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with proven threat mitigation track record
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or GIAC required (e.g., GCIH, GCFA)
- Expertise in network security, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and endpoint protection
- Advanced knowledge of SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (CrowdStrike, Darktrace)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure incident response scenarios
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
