Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real-time using SIEM tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, endpoint protection, and encryption.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and security policies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Certification such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security architecture.
- Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence tools.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
