In this hybrid role, you will bridge the gap between technical defense and business strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing our Security Operations Center (SOC), leading threat hunting initiatives, and ensuring our compliance with global standards.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM tools (Splunk/SentinelOne) to identify and mitigate threats in real-time.
- Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders during security breaches.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to strengthen our defense posture.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance documentation (ISO 27001, NIST).
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Perform security audits and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or systems administration.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Bash scripting for automation and security tools.
- Deep knowledge of cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment (3 days on-site in Phoenix, 2 days remote).
