Responsibilities
- Monitor & Analyze: Detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats and incidents using SIEM tools.
- Security Governance: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, ISO).
- Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security gaps.
- Incident Response: Lead the incident response process, coordinating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and damage.
- Access Control: Manage user access rights and perform regular audits to enforce the principle of least privilege.
- Cloud Security: Secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and implement data protection measures.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC is highly preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SIEM (Splunk, QRadar), firewalls (Check Point, Palo Alto), and endpoint protection.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting to executive leadership.
- Tools: Experience with scripting (Python/Bash) for automation tasks.
