Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic and system logs for suspicious activities, intrusions, and policy violations.
- Lead incident response efforts, including containment, eradication, and recovery procedures.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses.
- Design, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of servers, firewalls, and cloud environments.
- Stay current on emerging cyber threats and industry best practices to recommend proactive security measures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, or a related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP), firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to translate technical findings for non-technical stakeholders.
