Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events across the enterprise network using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Conduct thorough incident response investigations to contain breaches and mitigate risks.
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS).
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to implement security best practices (DevSecOps).
- Manage third-party risk assessments and vendor security audits.
- Provide security awareness training to employees and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GCIH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity operations or network security.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and common network protocols.
- Experience with incident response methodologies and forensics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
